About Moota

Established in 2004 to bring order to the chaos that was mobile data connectivity, Moota Telecom quickly became the preferred technical partner of mobile operators and MVNOs in Scandinavia.

Our first mobile configuration platform was built around the distribution chain, where unbranded phones would pass through a distributors warehouse and come out as a branded and configured device, ready for market consumption.

In 2008 the company we acquired a promising mobile development company, to extend our on-device capabilities, and our second generation mobile configuration platform was born, enabling more configuration and provisioning options.

In 2013, we launched our third generation platform, with a complete API surface, enabling new opportunities for value generation combined with an even higher degree of usability.

Moota has a clear focus on value-adding for all points of the complex mobile value chain, and are dedicated to stay on the cutting edge of mobile technology. With offices in Oslo, Norway and Colombo, Sri Lanka, Moota has central hubs for both the European and Asian markets.
